RAWALPINDI: During a visit to the IJP Road, Hanif Abbasi, a leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), along with Commissioner Rawalpindi Division Liaquat Ali Chatta, instructed the relevant authorities to expedite the beautification project and finish it as quickly as possible.
As per a spokesperson from the Commissioner’s Office, Deputy Commissioner Hasan Waqar Cheema, PML-N’s Zia Ullah Shah, DG PHA, DG RDA, CEO Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi, Secretary RTA, and other concerned officers were present during the visit.
They inspected the area from IJP Road to Ghosia Bus Terminal and also assessed the water level in Nullah Lai under the Katarian Bridge.
The Commissioner urged the authorities to complete the cleaning of Nullah Lai before the onset of the monsoon rains.
