Police Arrest 4 Suspects in Connection with Violent Housing Society Attack

RAWALPINDI: The Humak police have apprehended 4 relatives of Afghan national Wali Jan in connection with an armed attack on the head office of an illegal housing society near Bahria Town Phase 7 Entrance.

The detainees, identified as Nauroz Khan, Feroz Khan, Salim Khan, and Billa, are the sons of Wali Jan, the prime suspect in the incident.

This development comes after a case was filed against Wali Jan under various sections of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC), including 324, 341, 148, 149, 385, and 440.

Meanwhile, Nilore police have also taken action by detaining Wali Jan’s brother, who is allegedly involved in a land dispute in the Nilore area.

The dispute reportedly led to an altercation that resulted in the injury of two individuals.

As per the details, the incident prompted Sami Ullah Sabri, the Director of HR at Blue Hills Office, to file a complaint.

According to the complaint, Wali Jan allegedly made abusive calls to Ch Nahim Ijaz over a financial matter and subsequently launched an armed attack on the Blue World City head office, injuring one person.

In response, the police initiated a case against Wali Jan and other accomplices and initiated an investigation.

The Station House Officer (SHO) of PS Humak, SI Hassan Akhter, led a raid on Wali Jan’s residence in Rawat, leading to the arrest of his four sons.

Despite attempts to contact them, DPO SP Rana Hussain Tahir, SDPO Sihala Circle Saud-Ur-Rehman, and SHO PS Humak SI Hassan Akhter remained unavailable for comment.

In a separate incident, unidentified individuals armed with sticks reportedly attempted to occupy government land near a graveyard in Model Town Humak.

Humak police intervened and prevented the land grabbers, who were Afghan nationals believed to have been sent by the management of a private housing society.

The attempted land grabbing met with resistance from residents, prompting a strong police presence to deter any further encroachments.
