LAHORE: Commissioner Lahore Muhammad Ali Randhawa is gearing up for a training workshop on e-registration, a digital system enabling secure property registration in Punjab.

The government has announced that e-registration will commence from May 1st, with the aim to safeguard citizens’ property data while facilitating easy online copy requests.
This digital system will prevent unauthorized alterations to property records and enable the monitoring of responsible officers.
E-registration will also eliminate tax evasion during property transfers, ensuring transparency and accountability in the registration process.
Notably, the move towards e-registration is a significant step towards providing hassle-free property registration to citizens while also ensuring their rights are protected.
