LAHORE: The Punjab government has announced the establishment of a complaint cell in partnership with the industry department, located in the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI).
According to sources, the move is intended to address the difficulties faced by industries and businesses in the region.
During a visit to the LCCI, SM Tanveer, caretaker minister for industry, trade, and energy, along with Ibrahim Murad, caretaker minister for local government and community development, discussed the issues faced by industrialists and traders and proposed a plan of action to address them.
The details suggest that the restored Punjab Chamber of Commerce Coordination Committee will also focus on resolving the problems of the industrialists.
Furthermore, the business community plays a vital role in the country’s economy, and the government has a responsibility to address their concerns, according to the provincial minister, the officials stated.
Municipal services, parking, encroachment, and other problems will be resolved on a priority basis, according to Minister Ibrahim Murad.
Besides, Kashif Anwar, president of the Lahore Chamber, expressed a commitment to collaborate for the prosperity of the country.
