Punjab Govt Commends MWMC’s Performance During Cleanliness Drive

MULTAN: The Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has received praise from the Punjab government for its excellent performance during a cleanliness drive in the city.

Ibrahim Hasan Murad, the Punjab Local Government Minister, sent a letter to MWMC CEO Kabir Khan hailing the company’s performance.

In addition to this achievement, the MWMC has also been registered with the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), which will help the company gain global recognition.

This registration will enable educated youth to obtain internships at the MWMC in finance, budget, audit, human resource, operation, and IT departments.

ACCA will also provide free courses to the company’s management to provide training on innovation in finance and financial act, bringing more transparency to the company.

During the opening ceremonies of the two-day South Punjab Literary and Cultural Mela, the MWMC made effective cleanliness arrangements.

The Multan Arts Council and Tea House were thoroughly cleaned, and the lime lining was done for the beauty of the road.

Besides, cleanliness was also ensured at Ghanta Ghar, Chungi No 9, and Humayun roads in connection with the spring festival, and the MWMC set up a stall at Fort Qasim Bagh.
