LAHORE: The Government of Punjab has launched a mobile application for citizens so they could access a list of public services including land fees and transfers.
The purpose of this application is to enable citizens to get information about services effortlessly and efficiently.
As per the details, the citizens would be able to access information about public offices, hospitals, educational institutions, and government departments including those who deal with real estate and property.
The application would also provide information related to housing schemes in the province along with government schemes and job openings.
The application has been developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board in collaboration with the Punjab Education Department.
During the launch event of the application, Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Chaudhary Pervaiz Elahi stated that the GoPb application would make it convenient for individuals to access government services and acquire information on significant government initiatives.
He went on to say that the app would assist the government in maintaining transparency and providing services more efficiently.
