Punjab Land Record Authority Launches Mobile Revenue Service

The Land Record Authority of Punjab initiated a mobile van service being operated by the chambers of commerce of 7 districts.

For the convenience of traders and to provide one-window revenue-related facilities, this service had been launched in Lahore, Rawalpindi, Multan, Faisalabad, Sargodha, Gujranwala, and Bahawalpur.

Ali Raza Butter, the deputy director of the Punjab Land Record Authority, stated that concrete efforts had been taken to increase the efficiency of the field workers and offer the public a fast and transparent revenue-related service.

He claimed that Fards (registration documents) were provided to 80% of visitors in less than 30 minutes.

Over 50,000 land transfer cases had also been settled in the previous month as a result of effective monitoring of field personnel performance, and 20,000 other pending cases had also been concluded, he briefed.
