RAWALPINDI: The Secretary of Housing, Urban Development, and Public Health Engineering (HUD&PHE), Sajid Zafar Dall, paid a visit to the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) on Monday.
During the meeting, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the Director General (DG) of RDA, provided a comprehensive overview of the ongoing reforms and development ventures undertaken by the authority.
Furthermore, key projects like Rawalpindi Ring Road, Leh Expressway, and Kutchery Chowk were among the topics covered in the briefing.
Secretary Dall expressed his admiration for the authority’s performance and urged the initiation of new projects promptly, emphasizing the utmost importance of maintaining construction quality.
The DG assured that RDA would soon begin construction work on Kutchery Chowk and other projects, ensuring they are completed within the prescribed timeframe.
Other departments, including Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA), Parks and Horticulture Authority, and Public Health Engineering Department, also provided briefings on their respective projects to Secretary Dall.
Besides, the Secretary directed WASA authorities to focus on increasing the agency’s revenue.
