Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Orders 100% Digitization of Land Revenue Records

RAWALPINDI: Rawalpindi Division Commissioner Liaquat Ali Chattha has called for the 100% digitization of land revenue records in the division before the review meeting next week.

The move aims to streamline government office procedures and provide quick solutions for land-related issues.

Chattha instructed assistant commissioners to collect manual mozah and directed all districts of the Rawalpindi division to meet revenue reform targets quickly to ensure that the masses benefit from positive implications.

The Commissioner also directed deputy commissioners to ensure that sub-registrar offices are accessible to the public and operate with fairness.

He stressed the importance of completing interim mutation and unblocking Block Khewats by March 31.

During a meeting, Additional Commissioner Revenue briefed attendees on the performance of districts regarding the five points of Revenue Reforms.

The division has established a target of 702 Dehi Markaz Malls, out of which 686 have been completed and operationalized.

The Commissioner’s instructions and the division’s progress demonstrate the Rawalpindi Division’s commitment to improving land revenue records and providing better services to the public.
