RAWALPINDI: On the orders of Director General (DG) RDA Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) conducted a meeting at the Tehsil Office of Gujar Khan to inform all parties involved about the Peri-Urban Structure Plan and Side Development Zone.
The Director of Metropolitan Planning and Traffic Engineering (MP&TE), RDA Muhammad Tahir Meo, the Director of Land, RDA Ghazanfar Ali Awan, and other officers attended the meeting.
The Mott Macdonald Pakistan (MMP) Company consultant presented the ideas for the peri-urban structure plan and side development zone in detail, according to the spokesperson.
He said that the meeting’s attendees were informed of the new urban boundaries and regulations.
Furthermore, the issues regarding the peri-urban structure plan and the side development zone were also addressed by the consultant and RDA officials.
Additionally, the director urged that the officials of administrative matters in the district’s tehsils should also be informed about the peri-urban structure plan and side development zone.
The sources added that similar awareness meetings would also be organized in the other tehsils of the district.
