RAWALPINDI: On Monday, a meeting was held at the Tehsil Hall Gujar Khan to determine the new urban boundaries by Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) under the Peri-Urban Structure Plan and Side Development Zone.
The meeting was directed by the Director General of RDA, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, and Mott Macdonald Pakistan Company presented their proposals for Peri-Urban Structure and informed the attendees about the new urban limits and restrictions.
During the meeting, the public was requested to submit any objections or suggestions related to Tehsil Gujar Khan Peri-Urban to the offices of the Director Metropolitan Planning RDA and Assistant Commissioner Gujar Khan within the next seven days.
As per the details, the objections and suggestions will be included in the plan.
The Peri-Urban structure plan of tehsils of Rawalpindi, Gujar Khan, Kallar Syedan, Taxila, and Kahuta have been completed and uploaded on the RDA website www.rda.gop.pk.
