RDA Observes Anti-Dengue Day to Sensitize Awareness Against Dengue

RAWALPINDI: Under the direction of the Director General (DG) RDA, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) observed anti-dengue day on Wednesday to raise awareness about dengue.

The Health Department assisted in cleaning and spraying the roofs of the RDA and WASA buildings as the DG had also instructed the employees of the Authority to keep their homes and offices clean.

The DG further instructed MD WASA to perform additional tube well inspections, and if any water leaks were discovered, they were to be immediately fixed in order to stop the breeding of dengue larvae.

Saif Anwar Jappa urged citizens to take all possible precautions against dengue while stating that raising awareness was critical in the fight against dengue because prevention was far superior to cure.
