RAWALPINDI: The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has decided to form a technical committee to check the NOC criteria of housing societies that are approved by the Rawalpindi Metropolitan Corporation and District Council.
This was decided in the 60th meeting of the governing body of RDA that was chaired by Chairman RDA Tariq Mehmood Murtaza.
It was shared that RDA would be formulating Terms of Reference for housing societies to decide whether or not to issue the NOC.
According to the details, the Punjab Government has directed RMC and District Council to provide all the records of these housing societies to RDA so it could check whether these societies fulfill the criteria set by the Punjab Govt or not.
Earlier, RDA launched an operation against the land mafia and also sealed several housing societies within its premises that have been erecting structures against the building regulations and land use rules.
