Ring Road Project for Multan to be Approved by March 2023

MULTAN: The Multan Master Plan, which is linked to the Ring Road Project, will be discussed in the Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) before and after it is approved in March of next year.

Kaisar Saleem, Director General (DG) Multan Development Authority, announced this while addressing the MCCI executive body.

He stated that Nespak was designing the Multan ring road and that the project would be approved by March of next year.

“We have requested that all Multan VIP roads be turned over to MDA so that we may manage them better than Multan Metropolitan Corporation,” the DG further stated.

The MD MCCI explained the agency’s financial issues, which are posing several challenges to its efficient operation.

Earlier president of MCCI, Khawaja Muhammad Hussain, also demanded a review of the city’s master plan, the expansion of industrial estate, the formation of a building plan committee, reviewing MDA and MC jurisdiction, and the removal of encroachments from the city.

The DG ensured that all these concerns will be addressed and that city will transparently get its due share.
