LAHORE: Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has partnered with Strategic Communications Organisation (SCO) to provide communication and Internet of Things (IoT) services for the Chaharbagh Smart City project.
The MoU between RUDA and SCO includes services such as fiber optic installation, setting up command and control centers, and IoT solutions to ensure urban excellence in RUDA’s flagship residential project.
The CEO of RUDA stated that the authority is committed to pursuing initiatives that prioritize competitiveness, innovation, technology, and sustainability.
At the MoU signing ceremony, the Director General of SCO, Major General Muhammad Shahid, expressed the organization’s privilege to serve the nation by offering its services for one of the most scientifically planned riverfront cities.
The partnership between RUDA and SCO aims to provide advanced communication and IoT solutions to enhance the development of Chaharbagh Smart City.
With the deployment of cutting-edge technology, RUDA hopes to create a smart city that is sustainable, technologically advanced, and environmentally friendly.
