LAHORE: A consultation for the development of a sustainable and environmentally friendly housing society was conducted by the Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) and British construction and management firms.
As per the details, Imran Amin, CEO of RUDA, presided over the meeting, which also included top RUDA officials and representatives from the British construction and management firms Altair Management Company and Trellis Housing Finance Limited.
Furthermore, the participants of the meeting talked about the potential for building heat-resistant, sustainable homes on RUDA’s property.
RUDA promised to provide 300 acres of property to a housing society that would be environmentally beneficial and sustainable.
Emma Ahmad, director of Trellis Company, gave a presentation on the modern method of construction (MMC), which employs renewable energy to build homes that are heat-resistant.
The attendees shared other plans on how the climate change issue can be addressed in the housing sector and environmentally friendly structures can be erected.
