LAHORE: The Ravi Urban Development Authority (RUDA) has recently launched operations against illicit housing societies in its jurisdiction.
The authority once again has stated that it would act against every illegal housing society and demolish unapproved structures per the RUDA act and Government orders.
As per the details, RUDA recently launched an operation against an illegal housing society named Theme Park View and sealed three of its offices.
The authority shared that earlier, the society was served with several notices, but it failed to comply with the authority’s regulations.
It is important to mention that RUDA has also informed WASA, LESCO, and SNGPL not to provide civic facilities to illegal housing societies.
Furthermore, several authorities across the country have advised citizens to check the legal status of a housing society before making any investments.
