KARACHI: On Thursday, a section of an under-construction overpass fell in Nusrat Bhutto Colony, terrifying locals and residents of the society.
During construction near the Bolan Hotel, a minor portion of the flyover fell, according to officials at the Shahrah-i-Noorjahan police station.
According to SHO Ghulam Nabi Afridi, the engineers in question would be in a better position to explain the cause of the collapse.
As per the details, the officer claimed that when the part collapsed, heavy building material was being thrown at it but no one was killed or injured during the event.
