KARACHI: The Sindh High Court (SHC) has asked the Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) director general to probe the unpermitted building on Plot No. 75/A at PECHS, Block 2.
According to the petitioner’s counsel, PECHS underwent illegal constructions while the SBCA opposed taking enforcement action.
During the hearing, Nazir Hussain Laghari, the SBCA’s deputy director, presented the court with a report that declared the structures illegal.
The court ordered the DG SBCA to undertake an investigation, identify the relevant individuals, identify the personnel in command when the unlawful construction began, and take necessary action against them within 30 days.
