LAHORE: The Senior Member Board of Revenue (SMBR) Punjab, Nabeel Javed, presided over an important meeting to address the concerns of the Punjab Journalist Housing Foundation.
According to the sources, Member (Colonies) Shahid Niaz, DGPR Rubina Afzal, Haseeb Zaidi, and other relevant officials shared the progress and briefed SMBR.
A thorough briefing was given by the Member (Colonies) as the SMBR emphasized the need for strict action against the illegal occupants of the Journalist Colony.
Furthermore, the SMBR affirmed that the government places a high priority on providing housing for working journalists and is determined to remove any obstacles that may hinder this effort.
According to SMBR, the government aims to ensure that all journalists have access to plots, making it a top priority.
Besides, the journalists noted that the meeting was a positive step towards the resolution of these important issues, and the government’s commitment to addressing them is a fruitful development for the journalist community in Punjab.
