Earlier, on May 24, Muhammad Aslam Pirzada was apprehended after his bail plea was rejected by the Sindh High Court.

In an attempt to evade arrest, Pirzada sought refuge in the bar room of the SHC Bar Association but was ultimately removed and taken into custody.

During the bail application hearing, the NAB Special Prosecutor provided updates on the ongoing investigation, informing the court about the recovery of hundreds of millions of rupees from the accused.

Following the prosecutor’s statements, the court revoked Pirzada’s bail and ordered his arrest.

Despite spending a few hours in the bar room to avoid apprehension, Pirzada was eventually dragged out by lawyers. NAB officials later took him into custody outside the court premises.
