RAWALPINDI: The railway police apprehended four individuals in Rawalpindi who were allegedly attempting to steal railway tracks.
As per the details, police conducted a raid and were able to apprehend them when the suspects were busy in an attempt to steal railway tracks near the Rawalpindi railway station.
The police added that if they were not nabbed in time, it which would have led to a dangerous accident.
The police claimed that they also had tools in their possession, including keys, a cutter, and pliers, which the railway police authorities also recovered.
Furthermore, the men were identified as Hussain Shah, Muhammad Bilal, Azhar Iqbal, and Naeem Ali while a case was also filed against the suspects under the complaint of SHO Muhammad Irzam.
The Inspector General (IG) of Railways, Sardar Ali Khan while ordering the investigation into the matter stated that, the railroad police must secure the railroad installations and that those who cause damage to railroad property would face strict punishment.
