PESHAWAR: The district administration has started to develop public parks and grounds in Timergara and Chakdara regions.
As per the details, both projects have been inaugurated by the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Mahmood Khan.
The Chakdara Park and ground will span over 300 Kanal and is estimated to cost PKR 40 million. The park and ground will be located opposite the Afghan refugee camp.
Additionally, Timergara Park and ground are estimated to cost PKR 50 million.
It was shared that the park and ground shall be developed on barren lands near the Chakdara Bypass.
Moreover, Assistant Commissioner Adnezai, Daud Saleemi, said that the authorities have already cleared the land from the encroachers, and the machinery will soon be deployed.
He added that the project would facilitate youth by providing them with space for sports activities.
