Tourist Favorite Lake Saif-Ul-Malook Set to Reopen as KDA Clears Snow

MANSEHRA: The Kaghan Development Authority (KDA) staff, aided by heavy machinery, has cleared snow and debris from an eight-kilometer stretch leading to Lake Saif-ul-Malook.

This popular tourist destination, nestled amidst snow-covered mountains at an altitude of over 13,000 feet in Naran Valley, attracts millions of visitors annually and serves as an emblem of Pakistan for international tourists.

During the winter, heavy snowfall and landslides had forced the road’s closure to the lake, denying access to tourists.

However, under the special directives of KDA Chairman Dr. Amil Zaman Khan and Director General Tariq Khan, the authority’s staff has embarked on the mission to clear the road using heavy machinery, aiming to reopen it for visitors.

The KDA team is currently engaged in the challenging task of cleaning the approximately eight-kilometer road, which is expected within the next three to four days.

As per the officials, the tourists traveling to Naran will once again be able to relish the views of the snow-clad Saif-ul-Malook Lake, encompassed by towering mountains.
