ISLAMABAD: One Homes, a prominent property investment and development company based in the UK, has announced a major investment in Islamabad’s luxury residential market.
The company plans to undertake a development spanning 1 million square feet along the Murree Expressway, focusing on residential and hospitality facilities.
The eastern region of Islamabad, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes, has remained an untapped frontier until now. However, with multi-billion infrastructure investments underway, this area is ready for controlled development and transformation.
Aqib Hassan, Co-founder and Chief Commercial Officer of One Group expressed his excitement about the strategic acquisition.
He stated that the new project adds over 4,000 units to its development portfolio in Pakistan.
According to him, the ongoing mega infrastructure investments in the capital’s eastern frontier have turned it into a hotbed for investment.
The experts predict that property prices in this area will experience rapid growth, with a potential of up to 100% in the short to medium term.
Aqib further explained that this development will be unique, featuring a serviced residences model that has not been seen before in Pakistan.
He went on to say that it will cater perfectly to the overseas Pakistani clientele.
Moreover, he also emphasized that this is the largest prime city development undertaken by One Homes to date, allowing them to create something truly special.
Previously, One Homes pre-launched a resort-style living concept in DHA Islamabad, comprising 255 apartments and townhouses.
The construction is currently in progress and expected to be completed by 2026.
According to sources, One Homes has built its land bank, adding over $200 Million to its gross development pipeline.
It is worth noting that One Homes, a part of One Group, has established itself as a leading foreign investor in Pakistan.
It was founded by entrepreneur Zeeshaan Shah and the group boasts a portfolio of over $400 Million worth of projects in the country, including One Canal Road in Lahore and One Serene Residences in DHA Islamabad.
