ISLAMABAD: Captain (r) Muhammad Usman Younis, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), has stated that every effort is being made to address the issues facing the residents, particularly the victims of capital’s land acquisition.
As per details, the CDA chief visited several locations, including Chak Mojohan, Dakhli Kuri, Sheikhpur, and Sarai-e-Kharboza in the E-12 and other sectors, along with the officers of the relevant departments.
According to the press release, Member Estate, Deputy DG Land, and Director Land are visiting various areas every week to listen to the problems of the victims on the special instructions of the CDA chairman.
The chairman claimed that specific actions had been taken to assist in more effectively resolving the victims’ issues.
In the initial phase, he personally visited various locations to better understand the issues facing the victims and also presided over “khuli kutchehries” to address the issues directly with the victims, said the press release.
Besides, the Chairman has also ordered that any incompetence in this regard will not be tolerated while camps were also set up in various locations to address the problems of the victims, including name correction, land record upgradation, and other such issues.
