Intl Incoming Traffic of Telecard and Dancom Suspended
International Incoming Traffic of Telecard and Dancom has been suspended by PTA for not paying APC for USF, told us by a higher official at authority.
Pakistan Telecommunication Authority has been very strict these days with LDI operators for not paying their APC, and this extreme decision was made by the authority to make sure that all operators are abide by the regulations for APC with timely payments.
It merits mentioning here that earlier PTA had warned all LDI operators to clear their pending APC payments.
A total of Rs. 5.84 billion is outstanding against LDI operators under the account of APC. It merits mentioning here that as per APC Rules, 2004 all LDI operators are bound to pay APC for USF on monthly basis with-in 90 days of each month.
