After Mobilink and Zong, now you can enjoy Twitter’s SMS services on Ufone too.
How to Activate Twitter SMS Service for Ufone:
- Go to this link: http://twitter.com/devices
- Select –> Pakistan –> Ufone
- Enter your cell number and then follow the instructions on next page
Charges:
Ufone is charging Rs. 1 plus tax for each update, for now at least.
Few Twitter commands
Do more than Tweet! Send these commands to Twitter:
- FOLLOW username: Start following a user
- UNFOLLOW username: Stop following a user
- ON/OFF’: Turn all Tweet notifications on or off
- ON/OFF username: Set Tweet notifications for a user on or off (you’ll still be following them even if you set it to off)
- GET username: Shows you the latest tweet from any user
- RT username: Retweet a user’s latest tweet
- FAV username: Favorite a user’s latest tweet
- D username your-message: Send a direct message to a user
In this case Zong is better – no charges, right?
Ufone is late again. but it good to see them in competition again.
The rates are little high they should cut-short
In my opinion the package should be like 1Rs./10tweete

Receiving update is free both in FB & Twitter, you will be charged to update your status.

Where is Warid ? Their members portal is like hosted on some home PC I guess which they probably shut down after midnight, lodged complain on this but every time they say its ok on their side.
