Zong Wins Islamabad Amateur Cricket League

ZONG cricket team recently won the “Islamabad Amateur Cricket League T20 Tournament” by beating Brothers XI by 8 wickets. Rouman Talat was awarded man of the match for scoring 81 runs in just 41 balls. Picture show the ZONG cricket team with the winning shield.  Zong cricket team has won the “Islamabad Amateur Cricket League T20 Tournament” at Marghazar Cricket Ground Islamabad. ZONG cricket team beat Brothers XI by 8 wickets. 

Batting first Brothers XI scored 159 runs in 20 overs with loss of eight wickets. ZONG, in reply, achieved the target in 16.2 overs with the loss of two wickets. Chasing a stiff target of 160 runs ZonG Openers Usman Javed Ch & Asif Mahmood gave the ideal blistering start to the inning by scoring 45 runs of just 4 overs. Both the batsman made 26 & 45 runs respectively. Rouman Talat the leading top scorer of the tournament yet again scored 81 runs in just 41 balls with the strike rate of 197.56. He hit 13 fours and 3 sixes in his innings.

Zong Cricket team had reached the finals of Islamabad Amateur Cricket League T20 Tournament by beating 5 corporate teams. ZONG team has been performing outstandingly during these tournaments by reaching the 3rd season’s semifinal and this time the final of season 4. 17 teams participated in the tournament and reaching the final is a remarkable achievement by ZONG.
