PTCL has launched this new service that will enable its customers to register complaints via SMS from their cellular mobile phones.
PTCL says that objective behind offering this service is to eliminate of customers’ wait time at call centers for complaint registrations and to offer a swift complaint registration channel to our Landline and Broadband customers.
How to Register PTCL Landline complaint via SMS:
- Step 1 type : CMP
- Step 2 type : Area code and landline number
- Step 3 type : Product code
- For Landline: LL
- For Broadband: BB
- Step 4: Send to 05 1218 1218
- Step 5: Receive complaint registration number
Example:
<CMP>Space<Area code><Landline number>Space<Product Code>
A landline number 0423586 XXXX with complaint for broadband will send following text:
CMP 042 3586 XXXX BB
You can type “HELP” and send to 05 1218 1218 to get help on procedures for registering complaints via SMS.
sms charges ?
Sms will be charged according to your package plan for other networks. If you have some Sms bundle activated it will be free :D
Update: For Warid its charging regular SMS charges even on SMS bundle. :(
Telenor and Ufone are also with Warid
No space after area code as per PTCL advertisement.

Seems to be a great service, making use of an sms to launch a complain awesome….. :)
I called 1218 to ask the charges per sms for launching the complain and what will be procedure to give details about line is noisy or dead etc…
They said to call 1236 for the details as they do not have this info.
I called 1236, selected urdu language then land line and value added services (2) the operator replied they have no information about launch of this sms service!!! I said it’s on your web site but he insisted that till now they have no details available with them!!!
How come a company does not informs it’s call centre persons about its not launched service!!!
What kind of service level is this company maintaining?

i have received 2 complaints no. No. is 4 and 2 is 74, but there is no positive response from ptcl compay, my ph. is still not receiveing calls and not avail outgoing call in creativity age. so plz solve my grivance on priority basis. i wll be grateul to you.
ptcl is no doubt the only department in pakistan which has really practical approach over the issues faced to public ,but some times it leaves such examples as no other deptt ever could. my ptcl no;0966 715081. is out of order since last 2 months , ihave got bothered of registering complaints again n again . Here PTCL looks in deep asleep. Responsible technicians are not scrutinized properly , its why the issue remains . Please resolve it.

chootia banate hain ye log agar yaqeen nahi to koi bhi apna duplicate bill through internet nikal kar dikha de sms per aap koi bhi complain kar dain koi jawab nahi aata ptcl ki kisi bhi baat per yaqeen karne se pehle ye zaroor soch lain ke ye Pakistan hai mujhe three month ho gaye hain ptcl phone lagwai huay aaj tak complain hi kar raha hoon sir ptcl ki aik baat bohat achi hai ke inka bill bilkul bilanagha mil jata hai.

PTCL is fraud, to all those who have subscribed with 4MB package, do check their package speed from backend. Without any notice this fraud company is modifying the package & downgrading it to 2Mbps & charging 4Mbps in phone bills
