The sources claim that the national team has left without Muhammad Amir, who did not get a visa in time and will now travel to England on Wednesday.

Pakistan will face Kent and Northamptonshire on 28th April and 4th May respectively, as part of their warm-up games.

Following those fixtures, Pakistan will face Ireland in their first ever Test match on 11th May before facing England on 24th May and 1st June.

The T20Is against Scotland will be played on 12th and 13th June, according to the PCB schedule.

Before departing, Sarfraz Ahmed talked to the media on the last day of the 16-man training camp, which was held at Gadaffi Stadium.

Sarfraz also talked about Fawad Alam’s exclusion and said:

This is completely untrue that Fawad was not picked up on the bases of techniques, management issue or any other fault in him.

Fawad has not played a Test since 2009 but he was called to the camp as one of the probable players who could’ve been selected for the upcoming tour.

Just because he was called it does not mean it was a done deal that he would be picked for the team. Since Usman Salahuddin and Saad Ali performed better, hence they were picked.

The captain of the national team added that he remains hopeful that this young Pakistani side can cope with the pressure and deliver great performances against quality oppositions.
