With analysts favoring the Imran Khan-led Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), and the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML N) aiming to secure sympathy votes following the saga of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and daughter Maryam Nawaz, it would be an interesting contest, to say the least.

Pakistan has a total area of 796,096 sq. km with a human development index of 0.681. 64% of the Pakistani population is under the age of 30, which bodes well for the youth vote that’s being courted by the PTI.
