Warid has clarified its position regarding a news published in Express Tribune with title ‘Khaliq to take charge at Warid’.
Warid has said that paper erroneously reported that Mr. Zuhair Khaliq has joined Warid Telecom as CEO.
Warid, in a communication with ProPakistani, officially confirmed that Mr. Muneer Farooqui who is the CEO of Warid Telecom continues to hold the office of the CEO.
It said that Mr. Zouhair A. Khaliq has joined as Board Director of Warid Telecom (Pvt.) Ltd.
After resignations from Mr. Bashir A. Tahir and Pervez Shahid there have been speculations that Warid and Wateen may undergo managerial changes, however, after Warid’s current stand it looks that Mr. Muneer Farooqui is going no where.
