Telenor Pakistan has increased mobile internet tariff for its postpaid subscribers by 20 percent for some packages and up to 25 percent hike for others.
New mobile internet bundles offered to postpaid customers will be as following:
- 35 MB @ Rs. 90
- 100 MB @ Rs. 250
- 2 GB @ Rs. 600
- Default Charges: Rs 1.13+tax
Interestingly, customers were not communicated of this change in prices, which are effective already – in fact a message posted on Telenor’s website, without indicating the prices, reads:
It is informed to all business customers that Telenor will revise internet charges for Telenor business and Telenor corporate customers from 16th July 2012.
P.S. Telenor terms its individual postpaid subscriptions as “Telenor Business” and corporate postpaid customers as “Telenor Corporate Customers”.
And #$#%#$ telenor is trend setter, i think all is going to opt same practice in near days.
BTW insane thing done by telenor, i was expecting cut off in prices, and they increased.

I ported into Telenor postpaid from Warid because of the edge service but even in Lahore the service is not that good. Warid was probably better.Now they go and increase prices. Way to go Telenor
main ney kabhi news nahi dekhi jis main telenor ney rates kam kiye hon,hamesha rates barhaney ki hi news ati hain.customer ka kabhi khayal hi nahi kartey.

thanks God, i’ve nothing to do with postpaid system. By the way, i didn’t get it at all. Prices were already on the peak & they lift them up even high. What the hell they think they’re doing??
The customer was communicated about the change last week through the ticker on the website. Please dont desseminate wrong information
Are you in the habit of visiting their website daily to see what has changed on the ticker? Man, think a little.
Whenever the have an OFFER to give you traffic, they send an SMS. I know I received at least four or five messages a few months ago when they wanted me to subscribe for more internet traffic.
They can do that. But when they raise rates, they do it by putting an item on their slow loading website and think that’s sufficient communication.
Here’s one BIG question for you (and the Telenor marketing people): what percentage of Telenor’s users even visit their website?

PTA should take a notice of it, they cant just increase their tariffs with out prior Notice.

Rediculous a company having only 75,000/- Postpaid customers (one of lowest numbers in market) and behaving like market leader.
Guys Guys where is the Price Hike in Internet Packages let me give you the Details its the same its just they have included the Tax Rates in the Packages. They were offering EDGE 1 in 98.62 including tax and now its for 99rs, EDGE 2 was for 263rs and now its for 275 Similarly EDGE 3 was for 657.5rs and now its for 660rs.
only prepaid gprs tariff is inclusive of taxes as they already paid 10% w.h.t on recharge and f.e.d in not applied on gprs. But on postpaid gprs tariff 10% w.h.t will apply.
