Wateen Telecom successfully concluded its participation in the CEO Summit Asia that was held at Marriott Hotel, Karachi on the 27th of November 2013.

Wateen Telecom was the gold sponsor for the event, aimed at discussing and improving the role of leadership in business and economic growth in Pakistan.

The CEO Summit provided a unique platform for Pakistani CEOs and business leaders to explore opportunities present in the country and to establish mutually beneficial connections.

Mr. Naeem Zamindar, CEO Wateen Telecom along with other dignitaries from public and private sector including Mr. Ahsan Iqbal, Federal Minister for Planning, Development & Reforms, Mr. Hussain Dawood, Chairman Dawood Hercules Corporation, Mr. Jahangir Siddiqui, Chairman JS Bank and Mr. Shaukat Tarin, Former Federal Minister Finance were key speakers and panelist at the event.

The CEO Summit also discussed the options to explore the potential global markets and boosting Pakistan’s exports. Wateen Telecom participated in the Summit and talked about the importance of corporate sector in developing, transition and emerging-market economies, the role of corporate governance, and turning around Wateen and success it has achieved over the yester-years.
