Motorola Announces the Dual-SIM Version of the Moto G

Moto G Dual SIM

When it comes to budget smartphones, an attractive feature in a large number of them is the availability of a dual-sim option. That’s exactly what’s the case with the Moto G. One of the best entry-level phones now comes with a dual-sim version for people who use two SIM cards on the go.

Specs (apart from the dual stand-by mode) remain the same. You get the same 4.5″ HD display with Gorilla Glass 3.

Hardware includes a 1.2Ghz Snapdragon 400 processor, 1 GB RAM, 8 or 16 GB non-expandable storage and Adreno 305. A couple of 5 megapixel and 1.3 megapixel HD cameras can also be found.

Battery capacity remains at 2,070 mAh non-expandable while the OS remains Android 4.3, coupled with a thin skin from Motorola.

Pricing is set at $210 for the 8 GB dual-sim model, while the 16 gig version can be had for $30. That’s $30 more than original phone but if you really want that extra SIM slot, then we think the minor price difference is worth it.

  • Dear Admin
what are possible ways to get this phone in pakistan ?
and will work on our frequency ?

  • They should concentrate on this thing “non-expandable storage” rather than on two sim/3 sim etc.. 8/16 GB is next to nothing for this excellent specification device. Imagine having 8+64=72GB or 8+32=40GB. or shifing SD-card from Primary mobile to this one.:)

      • Hence 50gb of cloud storage there for when you need it and can be disconnected from the device when its lost or stolen :)

  • google doesn’t care about Pakistan, that is why I also don’t care about their motorola phones which are not coming to Pakistan with proper pricing and official support
