QMobile Announces Entry-Level Noir A35 for Rs. 8,950

QMobile has announced its umpteenth phone in the entry-level line-up, the Noir A35. This Android powered phone is astonishingly cheap – both in price and the quality.

The first thing you’ll notice is the breath-taking similarity between the theme on this phone and that on Samsung’s Gingerbread era smartphones. Upon getting over that, you’ll notice that the display is of WVGA resolution, 800 x 480 pixels that is. Just don’t expect AMOLED-kinda quality from it.

Scratch the surface (just throw it on the wall, it’s that easy) and you’ll find the phone comes with a 1.2Ghz dual-core processor along with 256 MB RAM. 512 MB built-in memory is also expandable via microSD. Dual-sim compatibility is also onboard.

A duo of 2 megapixel and VGA cameras can be found but other than occasional Facebook posts or selfies, we can’t think of a reason why you would want to use either of them (or make fun of yourself) for some serious photography.

Here are the full specs of the phone:

  • Customized Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • 4″ display with WVGA resolution of 480 x 800 pixels
  • 11.4mm thick
  • Dual-sim compatibility
  • 1.2Ghz dual-core processor
  • 256 MB RAM with 512 MB expandable storage
  • 2 megapixel rear-camera
  • VGA front-facing camera
  • 1500 mAh battery
  • Price: Rs. 8,950

Priced at Rs. 8,950, you can’t get too wrong actually. At this level, you should probably even consider things like a lousy main-camera additional stuff. Forgive us for thinking too much.

  • Why is the tone of this article bordering on badgering when the title states ‘ENTRY level’. Yes it doesn’t have everything that you need BUT that’s what ENTRY level phones are for. (Face Palm)

  • Haha why did you bother to write this up when it was that worse? It’s not even considerable for an entry level smartphone way too lousy.

  • What is this?? is this a news or reminder bcoz A35 is abt 3 mnths older. kya ho gya ha propakistani ko
