I4U Provides Products On Easy Installments To Karachiites

If you’ve been looking to get your hands on a product on installments without too much of a hassle, you might be in luck. Installment4U (I4U) is a new venture that provides a Riba free online installment plan for a range of different consumer products. Before you get too excited though, we should mention that it is currently available only for people in Karachi.

I4U offers a wide array of products like smartphones (Galaxy Note, iPhones etc), LED TVs (EcoStar, Sony, Samsung), bikes (United Motorcycles) and air conditioning units (Gree, Orient) on installments. All plans are 12 months long and involve an advance payment and monthly installments. Early repayment facility is also available.

When we got in touch with the company, they assured us that the entire plan is completely legal within the Islamic framework. It has been verified by Mufti Irshad Ahmed Aijaz, the Sharia Head of BankIslami so you can rest assured no interest in involved. They also have their Shari’ah certification on their website if you are skeptical.

If you want to avail the service, you should know that the installments plan is strictly for salaried individuals within large corporations or multinational companies. Here are the detailed requirements:

  • Minimum salary 50,000 PKR per month
  • Salary slips for last 3 months
  • Bank statement for last 6 months
  • 2 references from within your organization

There are further requirements like a recent photograph, advanced payments for the product through post dated cheques and so on.

The whole process is completely online so if you meet the requirements, you can go ahead and apply and the product will be delivered to your doorstep for free after approval by the I4U team. Keep in mind you can only get one product on installments at a time.

For the moment, I4U has no plans to expand to other cities. However, expansion to major cities like Lahore and Islamabad is in their plans. Overall, we think I4U can provide an interesting alternative to people who are reluctant to spend a chunk of money on something big. You can visit the site at i4u.com.pk.

  • Too much salary limit. Its not good all are equal. I think minimum salary will become 20k atleast.

  • Why would persons with high salaries go for installment : it is the middle range ones who need installment plans for products like more in 20k categories . Current criteria won’t get much audience

    • 20k salary wala iPhone le ga to installment at least 7k hogi, baqi 13k mein se banda khana khaye ga ya hawa ye wohi baat hai nanga nahaye ga kya aur nichode ga kya

      • That depends on installment time. It is not necessary that installment should be around 7k it could be 5k or less but more years.

        • IPhone cost around 82k and it’s installment should be 6833 pkr without any interest rate, and peoples who earned 20k per month, it’s impossible to afford this beast for them

  • Jis ki 50,000 salary ho or wo qisto pa mobile la aisy bandy ko sharam sa pani pani ho jana chaiye or phr osi pani main dob kar marna chaiye…

  • Totally Disappointed!!!!! we can never ever facilitate our citizens like States or Western Countries What a shame all schemes whatsoever are targeted towards ELITE WTF …. you people crave, sell kidney, burrow money etc for a freaking iPhone which is just a phone and in States alone a Sewage Cleaner has it! THE F seriously! keep up Pakistan feel Proud you have nukes |||

  • Salary limit is quite illogical, why would some one go for such plan when he can get a good smartphone within his salary limit, off course previous savings assumed.

  • Guys it’s not just the smartphones. Look at the other products and the prices they’re offering. That’s why the conditions for applying for their loan is so stringent. In any case, useless service as it currently stands.

  • Lol. Even banks giving credit cards do not require 50K p.m salary. They need to get their work and thoughts in order first.

  • Small correction. Name of the Shariah Head of BankIslami is Mufti Irshad Ahmed Aijaz. (Not Arshad)

  • Dear All, This Riba Free Installment plan is offering the luxury products to its targeted salaried class , and designed for only Multinational and national organization employees, who are already using leading brands smartphones and other electronic items.

But the plan prices are very low as compare from the market those who are offering products on installments.

specially motor bikes and LED TVs are on very economical installments.
