Huawei Honor 6 Plus is Now Official

Huawei has finally announced its much-awaited Honor 6 Plus with its innovative two-camera setup. The phone also comes with a large display, unibody design and 4G LTE.

Display and Build:

The display size is set at 5.5″ IPS with 1080p resolution. The Honor 6 Plus features a unibody design and a metal frame for an extravagant touch.

Hardware:

Under the hood, you get company’s own octa-core Kirin 925 processor with 4 Cortex-A15 and 4 Cortex-A7 cores. Accompanying it is 3 GB worth RAM, Mali T628 MP4 GPU. The phone supports 4G LTE CAT 6 connectivity with download speeds of up to 300 Mbps.

Camera:

The main attraction however is at the back. The 8 megapixel two-camera setup is a bit like the HTC One M8 but even more innovative. Featuring advanced ISP technology and more, the phone can take a 13 megapixel snapshot with twice the light and fast 0.1s autofocus. There are a few other shooting modes too, as well as 1080p video. The front-camera is most-probably 5 mp.

Features:

Battery capacity is set at 3,600 mAh. The phone runs on customized Android 4.4.4 KitKat and will be available in Black, White and Gold. That last one comes with NFC and 4G LTE.

Pricing:

The phone will cost $320 for the barebones 3G model, while the 4G version with all its glory will be priced at $400.
