Startup Weekend Lahore to Take Place at LUMS on March 27

If you believe you have what it takes to sell your idea or a product on a global level, it is time to gear up for the Startup Weekend Lahore 2015 that is to be held at Lahore University of Management and Sciences (LUMS) yet again.

What is Startup Weekend?

Startup Weekend is an internationally renowned Google-powered event that offers hands-on experience to budding entrepreneurs. It is an opportunity for attendees to meet mentors, guest speakers and the finest from their fields to get a feel for the kind of business plan they actually need. What better way to check if your business idea is viable or not?

What to expect from this year’s event?

As usual, the 54-hour long event commences with the welcome and open mic pitches where attendees congregate to share their ideas and gather support. The day that follows features meetings with various coaches that help polish those business plans and shape them even better. There are more coach meetings scheduled for the final day before the final presentations and awards ceremony take place.

When is it taking place?

Startup Weekend Lahore 2015 is scheduled to start at 5pm on March 27 and last till March 29, 2015.

What is the cost of attendance?

The registration fee has been set at Rs. 2,000 which would include a total of 7 meals. For all those attendees coming from different parts of the country, accommodation expenses of Rs. 1,500 per night will be charged. Society for Promotion and Development of Engineering and Sciences (SPADES) at LUMS are the signature sponsors for the event.
