Sialkot CCI and CIS Collaborate for Provision of ICT Services

Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCI) and COMSATS Internet Services (CIS) have signed MoU to advance the use of ICT related products and services in Sialkot.

Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry is a trade organization established in 1982. At present, more than 8000 members are associated with the Chamber from diverse industries. SCCI has taken many initiatives for the economic uplift of the Export industry and the city at Social level.

CIS is an ISP offering services like Wireless broadband, Data Center facility, Domain & web hosting, On-demand broadband, Video conferencing, Website designing and development, Search Engine Optimization, Virtual Private Servers, Networking and ICT training courses.

According to the MoU, CIS will provide internet bandwidth, technical support and consultation, and Data Centre facility for server outsourcing. CIS will be collaborating with SCCI to formulate ICT related industrial solutions for exporters. CIS will also assist SCCI members for implementation of ERP solutions. Further, CIS will also develop web portal for SCCI.

On this event, President of SCCI Mr. Fazal Jillani stated:

This partnership will enable us to inflate our ICT infrastructure through their high-tech products & services. Data Centre outsourcing is one of the remarkable achievements from this partnership. Further, excessive bandwidth will help SCCI associated companies to function more adeptly and promptly. Sialkot city has a big industry and this collaboration will help us improve its operations and outreach.

Further elaborating on this partnership Mr. Muhammad Amir Malik, CEO CIS said:

CIS’s fundamental goal is to develop and promote ICT related products and services. We always make efforts to minimize the challenges faced by our industry. Sialkot is an industrial hub and this initiative will enable us to facilitate their operations with upgraded ICT framework. The ultimate aim of CIS is to develop an industrial community which is tech-literate and has an international operational standard.
