PTCL to Increase Evo and Nitro Limits to Upto 300GB With Better Prices

PTCL has announced a new set of packages for Evo, Nitro and Charji Services with better prices and more download limits.

The important (and very good) news is that despite a significant increase in taxation, prices have decreased and the bandwidth limits have been increased.

We would say the new packages were somewhat necessary and appears to be a move from PTCL that is forced by how the market is evolving. The growing market share of 3G and 4G subscribers means that PTCL was facing much tougher competition than before. Higher monthly download limits for 3G and 4G Dongles were also adding more to PTCL’s sufferings.

There was a time when PTCL was virtually unchallenged and EVO’s were the default choice for connectivity on the go. Now, most telcos have introduced their own 3G and 4G powered devices at attractive prices for the very same use cases.

Importantly, the move comes after the allotment of more spectrum to PTCL. This has allowed them to make their packages more attractive by increasing the bandwidth limitations across the board; which also means that you can expect better than before experience on your EVO and Nitro devices.

While these new packages have not been updated on the PTCL website just yet, the new prices and bandwidth limits are in effect immediately. The official site will be updated in due time.

If you want to update your current package, all you have to do is call the PTCL helpline and ask them to do so. They are valid for all current and new users.
