Twitter’s BrandHub Is a New Analytics Tool for Advertisers

Connecting with people on social media is one of the most basic tenets in marketing now and Twitter is trying to further help brands get a know-how. Its latest effort is a service called BrandHub which helps advertisers know more about the buzz being created.

The analytics tool will help advertisers quickly understand what customers, prospects and influencers are thinking and feeling about the brand in one time. In a one space, it will provide you with the demographics and necessary data you require to see how your brand is faring compared to your competitors.

This is largely made possible due to a new, BrandHub-specific metric called “TrueVoice”, which calculates the number of tweets relating to your brand, compared to your rivals. It will then measure what percentage of these impressions your brand owns.

It goes deeper than that to provide further, detailed demographics info including gender, income levels, occupation types, location and more. Twitter has assured that the personal information of these individuals will be kept private from these brands. It further highlights who your key influencers are, perhaps to help you connect with them better.

As consumers see ads about your brand and your competitors on TV, display, and social channels, they send Tweets which are then counted in real time through TrueVoice.

The service is currently available to select large and medium-sized businesses in English-speaking countries. More markets should be added soon. With a tool like this, Twitter has certainly made advertising on its network far more useful.
