Internet Society or ISOC is conducting a free of charge e-course on Internet Governance for residents of Asia-Pacific, including Pakistan. ISOC said that applications for the course are now open and will close on November 22, 2015.
This is a moderator-led 45 days long e-course which will arm participants with core concepts in Internet Governance and allow them to understand, follow and contribute to such discussions.
The course covers 5 modules which focus on Internet Governance principles, policies and how they apply to development:
The course will run for 5 weeks starting November 30, 2015 and complete mid-January 2016. Candidates successfully completing the course will receive a completion certificate.
ISOC said that the course costs are funded by the Internet Society’s Asia-Pacific Bureau, and there are a limited number of seats available through a competitive application process.

Selection of participants will be done by an evaluation committee and their decision will be final. Successful candidates will be notified by email on or around November 27, 2015.
