Xiaomi Redmi 3 Might Be The Best Budget Phone Ever Made

In what promises to be the new gold standard for ‘bang for buck’ smartphones, Xiaomi has announced the Redmi 3. With design elements that are clearly inspired by the iPhone, the Redmi 3 promises a complete package at a ridiculously low price point.

To start off, it features a 5 inch IPS display that comes with 720p resolution. Under the hood, you get an octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor that clocks in at 1.7GHz. Paired with it, you get 2GB of RAM. Internal storage is a respectable 16GB and it can be extended to 128GB via a microSD card  All of this is housed in a full metal chassis.

The Instagram and Snapchat enthusiasts wont be disappointed since the phone comes with a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP shooter at the front. To wrap it up, the phone also features dual SIM support.

Two highlights of the phone are its battery capacity and its price. For $105, you get everything listed above as well as a ridiculous 4000mAh battery. Even by Xiaomi’s standards, this is one hell of a phone. Obviously, the price is going to be higher when it’s imported to Pakistan but even then, we believe it outshines anything currently available in the market.

If you were looking for a cheap phone or a secondary one that doesn’t compromise on quality even with a lower price tag, you’ve just found it.
