Ehtisham Rao, Head of Digital at Mobilink, has resigned to become CEO at Servup LLC, a startup he helped found one year ago. Ehtisham is also a founding partner at Serendipity Pvt Ltd, a tech accelerator that helps companies like Servup get funded and scale globally.
At Mobilink, Ehtisham has had a successful professional stint over 12 years and he is widely regarded as a telecom expert, both in Pakistan and abroad.
“I leave with a heavy heart, as the digital stream at Mobilink is starting to gain massive momentum with the right push from Aamir Ibrahim (CCO) and Jeffrey Hedberg (CEO)”, said Ehtisham while commenting on the move.
Ehtisham said that his past six months at Mobilink were the most exciting of his career, with a lot of encouraging signs for growth of the digital business at the company.
“There is never a right time to go full time on your startup, the best time is now and that is what I am doing by giving my investors and shareholders confidence about my belief in Servup”, Ehtisham told ProPakistani.
