You can never perhaps fulfill your dream of buying a full-fledged high-end phone in the same price tag as ones seen in Mainland China but what you can do is hope. Here’s another such from, courtesy of Xiaomi, which is back with the Pro version of its new Redmi 3 smartphone.
The phone, which comes with additional few features like the 3 GB worth RAM, increased 32 GB storage and a fingerprint scanner will be available for a price of $140. As we covered before, Cheezmall is bringing Xiaomi phones at international prices so maybe there’s a shot of the Redmi 3 Pro being available too.
The phone comes with the same 5” display with 720p resolution. The design has the same metallic finish in grey, silver and gold.
Under the hood, you’ll get octa-core Snapdragon 616 processor, with its four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.5 Ghz, and another four at 1.2 Ghz. The same 13 MP back and 5 MP front cameras are retained. You get a new fingerprint sensor around the back this time.
The phone comes with support for support for dual-SIM connectivity and 4G LTE. The phone’s OS is a variant of Android 5.1 Lollipop. The cherry on top comes in the form of a large 4,100 mAh battery.
As said, pricing is set at $140 when the phone hits the markets in the first week of April.
