QMobile, the largest smartphone and feature-phone brand of Pakistan, is rebranding itself, we have checked.
With this new brand positioning, QMobile has come up with a new logo and the brand identity. A new TVC is also going to get aired on national TVs starting today.
QMobile, over the years, through its aggressive pricing, sales and distribution strategy has completely conquered the local handset market.
QMobile — during past five years — released phones in all possible price-points to ensure that it has something in the offering for any possible individual in the country.
On the occasion of company re-branding, Mr. Zeeshan Akhtar Chairman and CEO Q Mobile said:
We are extremely excited to announce a completely new look for our brand & feel that it’s a symbol of our commitment towards innovation & above all a Connected Pakistan.
Coupled with this refreshed look, we have an excellent range of devices launching in the coming weeks, which we believe will take the market by storm due to their beautiful looks, affordable prices and innovative features.
QMobile said that it is very hopeful about its new look and anticipated that people of Pakistan will love and appreciate company’s new logo exactly like the old look.
QMobile, along with the new shape, came along with the new campaign that clearly shows that QMobile has undergone a major strategy shift with this new TVC.
With this new campaign they have focused more on content and theme instead of jingles and noise.
Let’s have a look at the TVC itself:
They should consider on their smart-phone performance and quality instead of wasting money on same old crap.
They should name it KMQ mobile now.
Q-mobile anticipates that Pakistanis will ‘LOVE THEIR LOGO REDESIGN’ ..like they did the older one. .. hahahahahahahahahahahahah
ahahahahahahahhahahahahaha
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
hahahahaha LMAO
Koi to rok lo mujhe….
Q-mobile anticipates that Pakistanis will ‘LOVE THEIR LOGO REDESIGN’ ..like they did the older one. .. hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
The logo design itself is quite nice. The problem is it’s associated with low quality Chinese phones. With the low income of the majority of Pakistani’s and the high import taxes of the government I’m sure it’s hard to make a high quality cheap phone.
We need software and hardware support we don’t care if your logo is shiny or pink…..qmobile has perhaps 0 software support
They never released a Kitkat (4.4.2) Update for their M90, which they promised ON THE BOX, and in advertisements. No one to take them to a consumer court.
Ap le jao
THey dont make phones they just rebrand unbranded chinese phones . how do u expect them to have software support ? Qmobile isnt a phone company who design their own hardware and create forked android software for their phones . , they are just a distributing company who order chinese unbranded phones from mainly Shenzen China, though the z series have many rebranded Gionee phones.
Dude we know that….. and I don’t think they have even that much of a staff to even fork Android cz if they can fork it they can also port it…..who cares I’m moto user I get atleast 18 months of software support from moto and 3 year from XDA
Qmobile has wastes their market opportunity already. Zero Software support, in all these years they are unable to make android fork of their own
Wasted*
Quality improve nehi hogi, jab tk token khatam nehi hoga!
With rebranding need to bring in SNAPDRAGON chips and please for God sake Mediatek ki jaaan chor dai..
Mediatek se kuch nahi hota OS updates se hota Jo zero haan …….u can’t expect beast like performance from budget segment I mean dude if I buy an altis I’m not in position to say why the hell it doesn’t meet up with Audi’s 1.8
Kendall optimization bhi koi cheez hoti hai
Jitna pasa ads aur celebrities ko datay hain utna phones ki quality per bhi laga leya karain.
Ap to pagal han q mobile waly siyanay han advertising kro and sale even your bull shit

Everyone criticising in comments but major chunk of Pakistani market using QMobile. Ye to aese he hai jese har koi Amir Liaqat ka mazaq ura raha but program oska sab se zyada viewership b le raha :D
+1
Aur waise hi jaise log gaaliyaan denay kay bawajoud bhi NS ko vote day detay hain..
Qoum jaahil hai iska matlab ye nahi kay agli party sahi hai, phir chahay woh Jaahil aur ghatia Amir Liaqat ho ya phir Qmobile ya phir NS.
Is say lakh darja acha hum Logo bana ke dete in ko…..not impressive
ap log kon?
Zubeda Aapa :P
Aur is commercial ka to mobile company say koi tuk hi nahi banta
Connectivity is the connection?
I was thinking the same and while reading the comments on their fb page, I thought I am the only one thinking this.
Isnt it similar to the Apple logo? :/ Anyways its true that QMobile needs to focus on other aspects as well. However, one could argue that their strategy of excessive advertisment and glossary has paid off in Pakistan. It is after all one of the top selling brands here. QMobile does not need to compete with the likes of LG and Samsung because they are a budget phone brand. They do well with those demographics, they are successful at it. Lets say if they were to create more powerful phones, what will be the cost? And will they be successful? They can not compete with the likes of Samsung and LG in technology so why waste time and resources trying to reel in a customer from an already saturated market area (mid-high budget phones or high budget phones). No one that is complaining here about their quality will ever buy a Qmobile even if it were to create a competitive phone. The company is doing well, and while I dont really understand the need to rebrand this often, I wish it more success in the future.
Rebrand this often? I guess it’s the first time since launch.
Old wine in a new bottle

Best Add ever…. But MADE IN INDIA…..Quality of Q Mobile is CRAP…… Samsung is Samsung. …. Q Mobile is a waste of your investment. … There phone last shorter…Samsung , Apple make DURABLE PHONES. ..
Last logo was even better than this
I am fed up of this INDIAN Ads saga, not sure why they don’t utilize our own talents? What would our Ad agencies do if they will all get Ads from these Indians.
Sare paise hum se kamane hain but badley main dena kuch nahi, atleast Ad hi pakistani banwa lo aur agar India main banwate ho tu chalo atleast actors tu humare le lo. Tu in shaklon se hi kuch apnaiyat ka izhaar ho.
Bas behuda shows main bikes aur cars bant do aur kaam khatam.
The “liberals” my friend, who have nationality of other countries, but hate to stand in line there and have done nothing for this country but want our money in their pockets, so they can take that out as well. . bhaiyo story is same everywhere . . politics ya business . . unless the ordinary masses come out and throw such people out of the country and revoke their nationalities — we will continue to be treated like shi%^ we just substituted one master for another — in fact the reality is — pehlay goron kay ghulaam they — ab unkay ghulamon kay ghulaam hein!
And as far as ALL companies who deal with India are concerned — why not boycott their goods? We are so stupid as a nation that we give India money so they can buy weapons to kill our people — whether inside our country through terrorists like TTP or on the border our soldiers lay down their lives laikin humaray logon ko aqal kub aaye’gee?
India has its foot on our throat and we close our eyes and say we want to be friends — laughable at best!
Bhai aap ka ek ek lafz dil par laga, Allah Pak samajh dey humare logon ko.
Woh ek baar suna tha ke kisi Indian minister ne kisi Pakistani minister ke sawal ke jawab main kaha ke humain kia zarrorat hai millitary aur fauj ki. Humare fauji tu 24 hours aap logon ki screens par har ghar main maujud hain aur humara mazhab, humare tehwar, humara mashra, humari zaban. Garz yeh ke jo kuch bhi hum aap ke logon ke dimag main dalna chahte hain woh dal dete hain. Humare asal fauji tu woh hain.
Ab yeh baat aap batao kitne logon ko samajh aaegi, ke hum log puppet bane hue hain unke literally…
Bilkul janab. Mein 100%, ap se agreed hon. Paisay hamary jain aur fruite koi aur khaye. Hamara Talent, Technician, Equipment rental,Aur bohat si logon ki rozee roti ka pasa india wale kha jatay hein. Aur badlay mein paisa sirf Qmobile wale seth ki jaib mein jata hai. Aur kisi ko koi faida nahin.
Q mobile you need work on your mobile and more important on specs. No software updates ever for any of its mobile. I wonder who in right mind love q mobile.
