Lenovo Reveals 5 New Smartphones for All Price Points

Lenovo has announced a bunch of new low-end and mid-range smartphones at the IFA 2016 event. The phones target every market segment. shape and size.  Let’s take a look at them below:

Lenovo P2

The first phone in the lineup is considerably more high-end than the rest of the pack. The Lenovo P2 comes with a 5/5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, and a Snapdragon 625 processor under the hood coupled with 3 or 4 GB of RAM. Storage is set at 32 GB while the Chinese market will get a 64GB variant only. There’s no information whether it will also be released internationally. A duo of 13 and 5 MP cameras are found at the back and front, respectively.

The P2 also supports 4G and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The phone is also powered by a humongous 5,100 mAh battery, which is said to last days thanks to the power efficient processor. Lenovo will also bundle in a 24W charger to energise the huge battery quickly. Availability details are still a mystery though.

Lenovo K6, K6 Power and K6 Note

Lenovo K6 lineup smartphones are an upgrade over the Vibe K5 line from last year. The K6 line of smartphones comes in three variants, all carrying slightly different specs, different sizes but come with a similar metal unibody designs. This lineup shares the same processor and graphics thought the rest of the specs vary.

The K6 comes with a 5-inch display at the front with Full HD 1080p resolution. Under the hood, it comes with an octa-core 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon 430 with 2 GB RAM and Adreno 505. Storage options are set at 16 or 32 GB expandable, while 4G, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS are also supported. The phone also boasts a duo of 13 and 8-megapixel cameras.

The K6 Power largely builds on the same formula but instead comes with a 4,000 mAh battery. Again, you get the same 2 GB /16 GB or 3 GB/32 GB RAM/storage combinations.

The K6 Note is the pick of the crop. It comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a 4,000 mAh battery. Storage is set at 32 GB expandable, and either 3 or 4 GB of RAM. The camera is also upgraded to 16MP one in the K6 Note. Prices and availability details are yet to be announced.

The A Plus, largely a low-key affair, comes with a 4.5-inch FWVGA (480 x 854) display and a 1.3 Ghz MediaTek MT6580 processor, along with 1 GB worth RAM. There is a duo of 5 MP and 2 MP cameras while internal storage is set at 8 GB expandable. 4G is supported while a 2,000 mAh battery is also at home.
