Grand Hyatt Hotels to Launch in 4 Cities in Pakistan

In collaboration with Bahria Town management, Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency brands have officially announced to expand their business to Pakistan.

The Hyatt-based hotels will be spread across Pakistan in Islamabad, Karachi, Lahore and Rawalpindi. Bahria Town, which is regarded as one of the top developers across Asia, will have the ownership of all four hotels.

“We look forward to collaborating with the Bahria team to open the first Grand Hyatt and Hyatt Regency hotels in Pakistan,” said Peter Norman, senior vice president, acquisitions and development – Europe, Africa, and Middle East (EAME) and Southwest Asia for Hyatt.

Grand Hyatt Islamabad

It is said to be meticulously designed to keep up with the Grand Hyatt brand’s caliber. It will offer more options for the people of the capital city who wish to experience top-notch hotel services.

The hotel is expected to offer 400 guestrooms, seven food and beverage outlets, two ballrooms, seven meeting rooms, a spa, fitness facilities, private club and kids club.

On top of that, the Grand Hyatt Islamabad is also said to be first ever golf resort in Pakistan. Expect to open in the year 2023, the hotel is set to facilitate the richest of the rich due to its high standards and expensive services.

Location wise, it will directly connect to Islamabad’s city center and diplomatic area 30 minutes away via Murree-Islamabad Expressway.

Hyatt Regency Karachi

Expected to open in the same year as as Grand Hyatt Islamabad, the Hyatt Regency Karachi will be slightly smaller in size.

It will feature nearly 200 guestrooms, a lobby lounge, three-meal restaurant, and more than 17,000 square feet (1,600 square meters) of flexible meeting and event space.The location of rest of the branches are yet to be announced.

Hyatt Regency Lahore

The Lahore based Hyatt Regency is expected to open earlier of all, in 2021. It will hope to deliver authentic food and beverage offerings that will reproduce the Hyatt Regency brand’s history of culinary excellence in Pakistan.

It will serve as a venue for a various events such as weddings, social banquets, exhibitions, meetings, and conferences. Moreover, the hotel is said to also have a private club which will offer quality food and beverage outlets, tennis courts and banquet facilities, among other facilities.

Hyatt Regency Rawalpindi

It will deliver on the modern expectations of today’s travelers and meeting planners.With an event space of 11,00 square feet (1,100 square meters), the hotel will also offer 165-room hotel rooms. It will also provide food and beverages to ensure a complete stay with quality facilities being provided to the customers.

It is expected to open after the Hyatt Regency Lahore, in 2022.
